This lab stirrer has a generous 7×7-inch sturdy surface that is easy to maintain, corrosion and chemically resistant with excellent heat retention. The easy-to-adjust up-front controls of this magnetic stirrer have independent knobs for speed and temperature. This lab mixer has a speed range of 60-1200 RPM and a temperature range of 30°C to 300°C with the aluminum top plate or up to 540°C with the ceramic top plate, and can handle 40 lbs of liquids. For safety, a hot surface warning symbol will light up when the top plate is hot. The body design of this hot plate stirrer channels liquids away from the controls in the event of a spill.
